Here are a few quick points to keep in mind when you’re making these types of easy floral doodles.

Tips for Drawing Cute Little Flower Doodles:

  • Keep your floral doodles tiny & small
  • Try making them look cartoony
    • Do this by exaggerating proportions like making the petals more rounded or bigger in comparison to the stem
  • Simplify the floral forms by using simple shapes like ovals, circles, etc.
  • Stay away from too much detail
    • You can imply details by adding a simple line or two to indicate thickness, curvature of petals, or even a couple dots for a flower’s receptacle – but anything more and it’ll look too complicated, crossing over into realism – unless that’s what you’e going for!
  • Keep them quick by sketching a doodle under 10-15 minutes
    • Anything more & you’re spending too much time on it
